Shrine of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal

Vincentian Father Joseph Skelly initiated a devotion to Mary as she appeared to St. Catherine Laboure (the Miraculous Medal). To promote the novena, the Vincentian seminary's public chapel was remodeled and enlarged, becoming what is now known locally as "Mary's Central Shrine." The novena devotion has been continuously conducted every Monday from 1930 to the present.
