Father José Francisco de Paula Señan (1760–1823)
Missionary
Born in Barcelona, Señan joined the Franciscans in 1774. He was stationed at Mission San Carlos from 1787 to 1795 and at Mission San Buenaventura from 1798 until his death. He served as president of the California missions from 1812 to 1815.
