Pedro de Corpa; Blas Rodriguez; Miguel de Afton; Antonio de Badajoz, Francisco de Verascola

A group of six Franciscan friars based at the Spanish mission at St. Augustine, Florida, moved to the Georgia coast to minister to a native people called Guale. After one of the priests admonished a Christian Indian for not following the Church's teaching on marriage, the Guale killed five of the friars.
