Bowie Kuhn (1926–2007)
Baseball commissioner
Born in Tacoma Park, Maryland, Kuhn graduated from Princeton University in 1945 and from University of Virginia Law School in 1950. He was Commissioner of Major League Baseball from 1969 to 1984, and later served in leadership positions in Catholic political and financial organizations.
